COUNCIL HIGHLIGHTS
– Council held a regular meeting on January 14th.
– Jacqui Brown was hired as a part time Office Assistant. Jacqui will be the main contact for the newsletter and website. We welcome Jacqui to our office staff.
– The Town will order another computer for the Town Office.
– The 2020 insurance policy from SGI Canada was reviewed and approved.
– The Town renewed the Town Office caretaking contract with Tomi Karakochuk for another year.
– The Town renewed the Town Hall caretaking contract with Teresa Shirley for another year.
– The attached appointments were made for 2020.

CLEARING OF SNOW A reminder to residents & businesses in
town… snow removed from driveways, sidewalks etc. is to be
placed on your lawn or lot whenever possible, rather than on
the street. Do not blow or push the snow from the parking
lane to the middle of the street. The Town will be
approaching anyone who fails to comply to ask for their cooperation

JOB POSTING: CENTER DIRECTOR
DELISLE EARLY LEARNING CENTER LOCATION Vanscoy &
Early Learning Center is accepting applications for a full time
Center Director at the Delisle Early Learning Center location.
Applicants must have their ECE Level III or equivalent and a
minimum of 2 year programing experience. Previous
experience working as a Director or Assistant Director in a
childcare setting will be an asset. Applicants must also present
a current Criminal Record Security Check, current First Aid and
CPR Certification. The Center Director will be responsible to
the Executive Director and will assist as instructed, in the areas
of Administration, Nutrition Service, Scheduling, Supervision
and Professional Development. A high level of organization is
needed as well as the ability to work cooperatively in a team
environment. A community-minded approach and ability to
establish positive relationships with the parents, staff,
community members and outside organizations is also
essential.

exercise group will continue until the end of April/20. This is an exercise program that is designed for the 50+ age group. Held at the Delisle Town Hall from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. every Tuesday and Thursday of the month. All equipment is provided.
